This long-standing Catalan tradition involves making eggs dance at the fountains of gardens, cloisters, or courtyards. It seems to date back to the 15th century and is still practiced in some corners of large cities in Catalonia on Corpus Christi day. At Katakrak, we make the "egg" dance on a game recovered from the recycling center that blows air to expel balls. At the same time, another motor is activated that moves a spoon in circles. By controlling with your hand the amount of air coming out of the toy, you can regulate the height and stability of the egg. The goal is to place it inside the spoon. This game generates electricity through a solar panel. If the weather isn't good, the energy comes from a battery.
